OUR STONE LAIN
DINNERWARE SET!
We are confident that it will become a staple in your home for years to come.
To ensure the longevity of your dishes, we recommend the following care instructions:
REMOVING SCRATCHES
If you're dealing with scratches on your dinnerware, there are steps you can take to restore its appearance.
-
Step 1
Clean Your Dinnerware
Begin by thoroughly cleaning the dinnerware item with mild dish soap and warm water to remove any surface dirt or grime that could interfere with the scratch removal process. Dry it completely with a soft, lint-free cloth.
-
Step 2
Assess The Scratch
Determine if the scratch is superficial or deep. Superficial scratches have a better chance of being minimized, while deep scratches might not be fully removable.
-
Step 3
Choose Your Method
Depending on the material of your dinnerware, different methods can be applied. For porcelain and bone china, a non-gel toothpaste or a baking soda paste is often gentle enough. For stoneware and earthenware, test the chosen method on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn't cause damage.
For Light Scratches
Non-Gel Toothpaste Method: Apply a small amount of non-gel toothpaste to a soft, damp cloth. Gently rub the cloth over the scratch in a circular motion for a few seconds, then check the results. Rinse thoroughly.
Baking Soda Paste Method: Mix baking soda with water to create a paste. Using a soft cloth, apply the paste to the scratch, gently rubbing in a circular motion. Rinse off the paste to check if the scratch has diminished. -
Step 4
Rinse and Dry
After attempting to remove the scratch, rinse the dinnerware item thoroughly to remove any residue from the cleaning agents. Dry it with a soft, lint-free cloth.
-
Step 5
Evaluate The Results
Check the Scratch: If the scratch is still visible but appears lighter, you can repeat the process once more. If there's no improvement, further attempts are unlikely to help and could cause more harm.
